G Model Mill

The standard G Unit is offered fabricated from cast semi-steel construction. The product head is cast iron that incorporates a hardened steel rotor and stator high shear grinding components and utilizes a machine steel alloy shaft. The G models can also be fabricated from 316 stainless steel for all wetted parts, but is not sanitary.

Both industrial emulsions and road paving grades are produced on our equipment. The rapid shift to modified emulsions has required many producers to look to the CHARLOTTE COLLOID MILL because of its ability to handle high viscosity emulsions while supplying a consistently high quality product.

All CHARLOTTE COLLOID MILLS are designed to process temperatures up to 400F at through put pressures up to 150 PSI. All mills have externally adjustable rotor and stator gap clearances. These clearances can be set anywhere from .005 to .070. Settings are achieved in increments of .001. For processing versatility, CHARLOTTES are fully jacketed to permit product heating via low pressure steam or oil during operation. Our equipment can offer you production capacities that range from one to ten-thousand gallons per hour equal to up to forty tons per hour.

If you require corrosion resistant processing, we can also offer you a CHARLOTTE with the rotor and stator fabricated from 316 stainless steel or the entire product processing area fabricated totally from 316 stainless steel.
